Hey Everyone! The time has come for me to add another member to my cleaning crew! 😊 This is something I do not take lightly, as my clients mean the world to me... after all it wouldn’t be possible without them. So with that being said I will be very selective with who I chose to hire. I am looking for someone with cleaning experience but can also take direction. Every year, generous donors to the Volusia Sheriff's Youth Foundation help us make a difference for families in need through our Shop With a Deputy and our Deputies Toy Shop programs.

We're at it again this year, but we're also looking for a little extra help getting necessities to kids who need them.

See below for a letter from our Foundation chair with information on how to give. From my family to yours, thank you for anything you can do to help us brighten the holidays for Volusia County families!

To Whom It May Concern:

We at the Volusia Sheriff’s Youth Foundation know this year has been tough for many, especially our families with children. This holiday season with so many Holiday parties and events cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic we would like to reach out to those who may be able to give to our Volusia County children and their families this season.

We will continue with our annual traditions such as Shop With a Deputy and donations of toys to children in low-income areas on Christmas Day, but this year we are also seeking necessities to be allocated to children in our Title I school communities.

At this time, we are seeking donations of the following for which we have seen a huge need:

- Winter Coats or Heavy Hoodie Style Sweatshirts
- Socks and Underwear
- Shoes, preferably sneakers/athletic shoes

We would ask for sizes for Elementary, Middle and High School (Adult S, M, L, XL and XXL) age students.

Donations can be dropped off at any Sheriff’s Office location or pickup is also available. Monetary donations, including by credit card, are also accepted by calling (386) 490-6023.

Monies donated will be used for youth, community and law enforcement programs. This magic combination cements the bond necessary for safer communities.
