This weekend will be hosting their 20th Anniversary Out Here Dayton Film Fest! A lineup of q***r cinema that runs the emotional gamut will be shown from the 9th to the 11th. The lineup can be found at outheredayton.org and students can apply for free tickets via the scholarship.

If you missed the summit at The Dayton Metro Library, you missed out on an amazing event. All of the speakers including Robin Gow, Lajmar Anderson, and the the gentlemen from BTMOhio were absolutely wonderful. I also want to give a quick shout out to the Gatlyn Dame Group, PFLAG Dayton, the Dayton Gay Men's Chorus, Closet Transformation, and the numerous others who made this event possible. . I wish I could have seen everything, but alas, I can't split myself in three. Don't despair if you missed out, however, because the summit will be back next year on October 17th. More information will be shared as I recieve it.

Titled "We'll Always Be Here," this event, which will run from 10am-5pm will feature keynote speaker , workshops, crafts, lectures, and lunch provided by PFLAG Dayton. Jordan Ostrom, the Community Impact Specialist from the Dayton Metro Library will be at our meeting next week to discuss this wonderful event.
