Job Responsibilities

• Set strategic plan and work cell design to improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, material presentation and equipment layout in all Fab, Weld and Paint areas.

• Support day to day manufacturing of current products through process troubleshooting / failure analysis / corrective actions

• Identify, recommend and purchase capital equipment, tooling, and tools

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent and 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience. (Internal qualification- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and/or 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience at Timpte.)

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, etc.

• Must have experience with resource calculations, flow manufacturing, work cell design and process improvement. Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.

• Must have or be able to gain an understanding of the entire production cycle.

• Must be able to take a variety of projects with minimal supervision, ability to plan, purchase, and implement in a timely manner.
