Visa and Mastercard have been involved in multiple class action and antitrust lawsuits. Businesses that accepted cards for payments between 2004-2019 are likely owed compensation as a result.

The two main reasons for the class action suits are...
1.The card brands worked together to "price fix" interchange fees, causing higher cost to accept cards.
2.The card brands created and enforced rules that hindered the ability for businesses to drive their customers to use other payment methods, such as cash.
The amount of compensation received will depend on multiple factors. The process to file is very quick and straight forward. The claim filing deadline is May 31st 2024. If you have any questions you can reach me at [email protected]
