Did you know that twerking, throwing it in a circle, and bussin’ it open are considered as a form of outercourse.

Did you know that outercourse is considered a s*xual activity?

Watch your baby's but even more so, remember other adults are too.

When you read Luke 2:1-7, you get a glimpse into what an engagement looks like. It reads,

‘1 And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2 This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. 3 So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city.

4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. 6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.’

Joseph and Mary were together. He considered her as his wife and even went so far as to take her on a trip to be registered for the census. They traveled together. Even stayed together at the inn. They were a couple…yet they weren’t intimate.

As an Abstinologist, and one who's been abstinent for 20 years, if you'd have asked me prior to reading those verses of how people should act while they're engaged, I would have told you, “Naw, Mary wasn't supposed to go on a trip with a man that is not her husband." Id've been like, "Naw bruh! Y'all ain't married so why you tryna get one room?" Then Id've been like, “Where is that in the Word?" 😊 Not knowing Jesus' Mom and fiance' took trips, prior to His birth.

So, before we point our bony little fingers at couples who do the same, we should first look at the Word. These two were close but had nothing s*xual went on going on so for all my single students who have been found by your future husband, enjoy yourself! Just remember to keep your legs closed because Jesus' Mom did!
