Nanna’s Rideshare Presents: The Kids Awards Program

Safe Transportation. Independence. Trust. Freedom.

The Nanna’s Rideshare Kids Awards Program is designed to support busy parents, working parents, single parents, grandparents, and guardians who may not always be available to transport their children to and from school, sports practices, activities, and other important events.

We understand that practices can run late, work schedules can change, and life can get busy. Our program is designed to give families a safe and dependable transportation option while giving children the opportunity to build independence, trust, responsibility, and confidence in a safe and supervised environment.

Parent Safety & Trip Information

Parents and guardians will have access to important information about their child’s ride, including:

* Vehicle location
* Driver information
* Driver and supervisor information
* Transportation updates throughout the trip
* A clear understanding of who is responsible for transporting their child

Meal Assistance When Activities Run Late

We understand that children’s activities don’t always end on schedule.

If a practice, game, or activity runs longer than expected, parents may choose to authorize an additional meal stop. Parents can also notify the driver’s supervisor at least two hours in advance when they know their child will need a meal.

With parent or guardian authorization, the driver can purchase a $5 meal for the child at a fast-food restaurant and then transport the child safely home.

Safe Handoff — No Child Left Alone

The safety of every child is our highest priority.

Drivers will not leave the child unattended at the drop-off location. The driver will remain with the child until the parent, guardian, or other authorized adult is physically present and there is eye-to-eye confirmation of the handoff.

This helps ensure that children are never simply dropped off and left alone.

The Kids Awards Program is more than transportation. It is designed to help families manage busy schedules while helping children develop valuable life skills.
