New Politics
New Politics recruits, develops, and helps elect servant leaders.
We support veterans, AmeriCorps alumni, returned Peace Corps volunteers, and community leaders as they bring their commitment to service into politics.

The Hudson Valley raised them. West Point trained them. Combat tested them. Now Cait Conley and Pat Ryan are bringing that same service back home.
Flipping NY-17 and holding NY-18 is critical to flipping the House. New Politics is fighting like hell to make it happen.
The path to the House majority runs through the Hudson Valley.

ADVANCING TO THE GENERAL: Nancy Lacore wins the Democratic runoff, and is one step closer to flipping SC-01!
When the Trump administration removed her from her post, she didn’t step back from service. She stepped up. Nancy is exactly the kind of leader the Lowcountry deserves.

Juneteenth is a reminder that freedom isn’t given, it’s fought for, with courage, resilience, and an unshakeable commitment to justice.
Black leadership has always been at the heart of the fight for a more just and inclusive democracy. Today and every day, we honor that legacy and the leaders still fighting to finish it.

RATING CHANGE: Cook Political Report just shifted SC-01 toward Democrats.
Solid R ➡️ Likely R
Ret. Navy Vice Admiral Nancy Lacore, the top Democratic finisher in the SC-01 primary and frontrunner heading into Tuesday’s runoff, is gaining real ground in the fight to flip this seat.
The map is moving.
Congress needs more reps who’ve lived what’s at stake. Jo Mendoza agrees, and so do the Hell Cats.
That commitment to country over party is exactly what’s missing. When Congress can’t pass a budget, can’t deliver relief, and can’t govern with the seriousness these decisions deserve, the cost of that absence is clear. Servant leaders don’t just run better campaigns, they govern better.
This is bigger than flipping the House. It’s about putting proven leaders in seats to vote on the most consequential decisions facing our country.
Jo and the Hell Cats are answering the call to serve again, and New Politics is proud to back them. Together, we’re bringing servant leadership back to American democracy.

Shevrin Jones has spent his career in service to the people of South Florida — as an AmeriCorps alum, teacher, community organizer, and Florida State Senator.
New Politics is proud to have backed Shev since 2020, and we are proud to stand with him as he takes this next step in service. We are excited to endorse Shevrin Jones for Congress in Florida’s 24th Congressional District.
