Feeling right at home at an olive oil tasting - in Georgia! Arbequina olives, Texan Jim Henry helped with the pressing! This is this year's oil, pressed September17: light, floral, buttery!

Those rascally wild white Georgia shrimp! Don't stray far from home, and their sweet feral flavor outshines their farm-raised distant cousins. Culinary demo at the The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort showed us a new twist on shrimp and grits with cream and cajun seasoning prepared by locally-born chef Dwayne!

Travel Notes: Week 2 in Italy! Pinocchios abound in markets in Florence, but this life-sized figure lives in one of our favorite Chianti vineyards, Dievole. The Novecento (named "900" after the 900th anniversary of the winery) Chianti Classico 2007 Reserve is amazing this year.
