MiniEncounters Mini Therapy Horses

General opinion among horse owners is geldings are easier to own than a mare, so how did we end up with 4 mares out of five? It just happened that way and some days are easier than others.....especially when the want their hair done. Alot of styles but they all end up pretty much with variations. So here we have one p**f, two floofs, full tail, double braided tail, and the standard single tail braid .,...,...no we dont get tired of braiding and the shedding hair is still flying.

Angel loves stretching her back muscles like this and does it all on her own. She started doing this a long time ago and shows how smart horses really are and what they need. She loves a good massage too.,

Today is the Kentucky Derby and Bugs thought she was getting ready to go with her catty wompas fly mask......buy them books send them to school and the thoughts they come up with......

we love going to Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home and meeting the men and women that make this country what it is.

Another Spring visit to Rayburn Veterans Center after some storms the night before we were graced with a pretty morning to visit and have fun. Lady Bug sported a new do since her hair is so frizzy and so much of it. We met some interesting people......a former newcaster, a man that is almost 100, some new residents just getting settled and the regulars. We love going to visit and have for many years to honor what these men and women did for our country.

Our regular visit to Assisted Living and a resident discussing something with Jade. Each resident gets to pet and interact with the horses and we love getting to know them.
