โจโจ Today was absolutely surreal.
As I was coming down an escalator at the airport, my suitcase suddenly went rogue. ๐
Standing right in front of me was Charles Johnson, and for a moment I was certain I was about to send both of us tumbling down the escalator.
Thankfully, that didn't happen.
Instead, Charles was gracious, kind, and helped make sure we both made it down safely.
Later, as I reflected on the encounter and listened to Yes Season by , I realized how often we misunderstand what a season of yes really means.
Many of us think a yes season is about our own elevation. The doors that open. The opportunities that come.
But sometimes a yes season is about the people God places in our path. ๐๐พ
Meeting Charles reminded me of that.
Through and , Charles has transformed unimaginable pain into purpose, advocating for mothers, families, and fathers across the country.
Just days before meeting him, I had reshared one of his posts because his message aligned so closely with something I've been passionate about for years: fathers and partners are not passive observers. They are advocates, protectors, and often the first line of defense for maternal health. ๐ค
Charles, thank you for your work, your advocacy, and your commitment to families.
Sometimes a yes season isn't about what God is doing for us. It's about recognizing and amplifying what He's doing through the people He places around us. ๐โจ

No one is more full of empty s*x promises than a postpartum, breastfeeding mama. ๐คช๐
"I promise tonight."
"Maybe after the baby goes to sleep."
"Tomorrow for sure."
And then tonight comes... and you're exhausted, touched out, leaking milk, and wondering why anyone wants anything from your body ever again. ๐
As someone who's divorced, I don't pretend to be an expert on marriage after babies. But looking back, I wish more people had talked openly about how easy it is to lose each other during the newborn years.
Not because anyone is a bad spouse.
Not because anyone is failing.
Simply because survival mode doesn't leave much room for connection.
We've talked about what dads need to understand during this season. But moms, can we have an honest conversation too?
While we're pouring everything into our babies, our relationships may need some intentional care as well.
What's something you wish someone had told you about protecting your relationship during the postpartum and breastfeeding season?
๐๐พ๐
Breastfed babies really have zero boundaries, huh? ๐คฃ๐ BUT Now that I've got your attention... ๐โจ
Let's have a . ๐ I want to give a massive shout out to my dear friend Amanda Hunt, the brilliant founder and owner of . ๐ค๐คโจ
When you're in the thick of the breastfeeding and postpartum journey, finding products that actually work feels like a miracle. This bra didn't just make my daily routine functional and practical. It honestly made me feel s*xy again. ๐๐พ(see cover photo)
As moms, we spend so much time pouring into everyone else. We deserve to feel amazing, comfortable, and confident in our own skin too. ๐คฑ๐ฝ๐
๐ธ Full disclosure: This is 100% NOT sponsored. I am not getting paid a single dime to say this. I just deeply believe in giving women their flowers while they can smell them, and Amanda has built something truly special for mamas.
You all know how much I love a genuine, life changing product recommendation, and I'm so excited to get back into sharing the real deal products that have made a difference in my life. โจ
Today, we're celebrating you, Amanda. ๐ค๐๐ฟ
๐๐พ Calling all my mamas: Have you tried Davin & Adley yet? If so, what's your favorite style? Drop it in the comments below!
Trying so hard to stay awake for the bo***es ๐ญ๐ค
These moments are funny, beautiful, natural, and honestly a little miraculous.
My mission will always be to normalize breastfeeding because there is nothing shameful about a mother feeding her baby. These moments are not s*xual. They are not inappropriate. They are real life, real motherhood, real connection.
And I refuse to let mothers be shamed for something so biologically normal and deeply beautiful.
Normalize breastfeeding. Normalize seeing it. Normalize not looking away. ๐ค
Okay this took me out and honestly as a who nursed for 9 years total I never felt more seen. I am going to dig the archives for footage.
The comments are EVERYTHING ๐ซฃ๐คช๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Who can relate?
Your b***s are sore ๐ฎ
Youโre emotional.
Youโre overwhelmed.
Youโre excited one minute and nauseous the next ๐คข๐
Pregnancy? Nope.
Just me over here newly pregnant with TPP Dallas ๐ถ๐ฝโจ
The launch is officially here, but just like early pregnancy, this is only the beginning. There are so many emotions wrapped into building something you love โ excitement, anxiety, anticipation, exhaustion, and all the โwhat ifsโ in between.
And over the next nine months, weโre excited to continue growing, expanding, learning, and nurturing this baby into something truly beautiful for the Dallas community ๐ค
Which honestly makes this the PERFECT time to talk about one of the earliest signs of pregnancyโฆ sore b***s ๐
Many moms notice breast tenderness before they even get a positive test, especially while breastfeeding, which can make things extra confusing ๐
Iโll be taking a deeper dive into the early signs of pregnancy, why your b***s hurt so early, and whatโs actually happening inside your body in a blog dropping later tonight โจ
Donโt forget to FOLLOW so you donโt miss it ๐ซถ๐ฝ

๐จTHIS POST IS ONLY REFFERING TO INFANTS 12 MONTHS AND OLDER๐จ
Having an infant with CMPA or being a plant-based family can be very challenging for many moms. I hope you find this guide helpful.
Things to consider:
1. Infants with CMPA have a 50% chance of having a Soy protein allergy.
2. Infants with a CMPA also can have a ๐ goat milk or other mammal milk allergy.
3. Limit servings to no more 2-3 servings a day to prevent displacing critical nutrition from solid food.
I will do a whole other graphic on serving sizes and food sources of critical nutrients including protein, calcium, iron and vitamins.
Ok what questions do you have? What alternative milk if any are you using? How are you making sure your LO has and gets enough protein, calcium and vitamins.

This is how you establish an adequate supply as an exclusive pumper. I can't stress enough how important what you do in those first few days after you deliver and the following weeks is to your overall breast feedinig success.
If chest-feeding is not going well, DO NOT HESITATE TO:
1๏ธโฃ. Get help
2๏ธโฃ. Break out the pump. I am always heartbroken when there is a delay in establishing pumping because moms have been scared and misinformed about pumping in the first few days of life
3๏ธโฃ. Give yourself some grace. It's not as easy as we try and make it look. There is nothing wrong with you. It is NOT your fault.
โHow many of you delayed pumping even though you were having challenges with chest-feeding, supply or supplementing with formula or pumped milk?
What advice would you give a mum having a hard time with being an Exclusive Pumper OR deciding whether or not to be an EPer? Let's chat in the comments โฌ๏ธ
