Kids Who Rock opportunity Sunday Oct 11th

There is something so special about performing at Cook Children’s Hospital.

Throughout my childhood, I spent countless days in hospitals. I know what it’s like to miss school, miss friends, and wonder when you’ll finally get to go home. I also know how much a simple smile, conversation, or song can brighten an otherwise difficult day.

That’s why being part of the Music Meets Medicine Summer Concert Series means so much to me. Music has been such a huge part of my own healing journey, and being able to share it with children and their families is an honor I’ll never take for granted.

Thank you to the Texas Country Music Association and Music Meets Medicine for allowing me to be a small part of bringing hope, encouragement, and a little joy to these incredible kids and their families.

I hope every child I met leaves knowing they’re stronger than they realize and that they are not their illness.

Ok this is not in our area or our history books.
DID YOU KNOW there is an underground city in Turkey accidentally found in 1963 by a guy who was trying g to get his chicken that disappeared through a crack in his basement or somewhere. He broke through to this massive city to get his chicken out.
Incredible. I read only 10% is open to tourist and “they” don’t know the origin of it. Let me know what you know. I want to know more.

In honor of our ninth Dudes Rock camp 2026 I’d like to point out in 2018, when we started, we had nine Students! This year we had 28 students at DUDES ROCK Camp.
Thank you Tyree for believing in us and everyone else who volunteers and supports our vision through music and the arts.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the benefits of learning to swim.

This was a good year! Thank you everyone who participated, helped by volunteering, teaching music and lessons, took photos and shared and all of you who donated funds to keep us going for the 11th year.
The next fund raising project is recording the songs written by the students. Let’s keep these kids rockin’. 🤘😻🤘🎵🎸🥁🪊🎹🎼🪘🎻🎸🎤🎭🫟🎨

Added more photos showing the Good times at the Harmony Science Academy-Garland Friday night. Paula Gonzalez is so amazing with her events there. That’s actually how I met her about 3 years ago when we joined for a fall festival.
We had a Photo Booth there Friday. I was so tired after camp, but Debby Bobbitt, MIA, Julie and Paula sent some HS volunteers to help out. Thank you all. 🎶😎🎭 it was fun watching all the happy kids. Here’s a few photos from the event.
