Yummy dinner

Garden queen here. I know what’s for dinner.

Yes, that’s right. Cosmic Café is open for business. I was in the neighborhood and stopped by for lunch. Sit out on the porch and just enjoy a lovely meal. I might come back for dinner.

I love spring. All the yumminess you can imagine. I’ve been cooking all weekend and loving what’s transpired in the kitchen. So much so the last plate is just a combinations of things I’ve made in the last week. Bon appétit.

It may be hard to believe that I was vegan for 15 years.
I’m always looking to try new things. over a year ago I received a meat grinder, that I asked for, and I still haven’t used it. I needed more space in my freezer so I decided to grind the turkey that has been in there since Thanksgiving. It was so easy to do. I think cleaning the grinder was the hardest part. Now I want to make sausages. Next step is taking the turkey bones and dehydrating them to make bonemeal for the garden.

Success. I’m sure you’re wondering why I took a picture of bones in a Vitamix. I decided to try to make bonemeal for my garden. I already take the carcasses of chickens that have been roasted and make chicken stock with them. I received a dehydrator at Christmas and decided to take those bones and make bonemeal. And as you can see successful, yes I’m a little proud.
