GACS represents the convenience store industry in the State of Georgia. Web site: www.gacs.com Twitter: @gacsga Convenience store operators united together in 1973 to form The Georgia Association of Convenience Stores (GACS).
Today, GACS is still governed by a board of directors consisting of 18 retail operators and two supplier members. Their mission is to advance the business success of members and the convenience store industry through advocacy, knowledge and services.
GACS is so excited to have our supplier and wholesaler partners join the convenience store industry in the fight against human trafficking! Way to go Georgia Beer Wholesalers Association and Wine & Spirit Wholesalers of Georgia! Thanks for joining the cause!

Jim Tudor’s wife, Sandra, has asked for an urgent prayer request for Jim. This morning he tangled with a yellow jacket nest while burning some brush. He’s on the way to the ER now. Evidently he doesn’t respond well to stings. Please lift him up. I’ll post an update when I have one.
And GACS is proud to have you as a member!
Proud member of the GACS family!

We have the best members!
It’s the first Wednesday of the month meaning one cent from every gallon of gas sold today will be donated to our local schools! At Parker’s, it’s just another way to give back to this wonderful community we live in!
Due to widespread power outages, limited internet access (which is draining battery life), and road debris, the GACS office will be closed today, October 29, until power is restored and debris is removed.
Hope to be “Back on Track” no later than Friday, Oct 30!

September is We Card Awareness Month! Retailers be sure to keep your front line employees trained on underage sales.
Convenience stores are open around the clock to provide for their communities and work hard to keep their employees and guests safe. They deserve commonsense and bipartisan protections — not the threat of baseless lawsuits that would harm our recovery. #ProtectConvenience #RecoveryforUS
We must support essential businesses that are working overtime to support our communities during the pandemic. Convenience stores that play by the rules need commonsense protections from lawsuits. #ProtectConvenience #RecoveryforUS
Thank you for protecting Georgia's critical infrastructure including convenience stores!
This week our office and 21 other state attorneys general wrote a letter to Congress urging the adoption of the federal pandemic liability protections contained in the Safe to Work Act.
This is our latest action to help mitigate the threat of frivolous COVID-related litigation for much-needed goods and services while still ensuring victims have legal options where appropriate. In the wake of this unprecedented crisis, the extension of appropriate civil liability protections is needed at both the state and federal levels for businesses, manufacturers of personal protective equipment, first responders, healthcare workers, healthcare facilities, members of law enforcement and other individuals and entities.

Convenience stores are open around the clock to provide essential goods and services to their communities. They should be able to continue their efforts without the fear of costly legal fees. Tell Congress you agree: https://rb.gy/dvtgit #ProtectConvenience #RecoveryforUS

We will rebuild and return to serving the Bishop community as soon as we possibly can. Thank you to our loyal customers for your support as we move forward in the days and weeks ahead.
Our team has stepped up and is working night and day to serve the community during this time of crisis. We're proud to be there for the healthcare workers, the first responders, and more.
