Meet 🌸 AVA 🌸

You’d never guess she was confiscated in a cruelty case, given her SWEET, LOVING, and CONFIDENT nature. She immediately fit in with her foster family, which includes two other small dogs and a senior cat. Ava is extremely affectionate and wants to be near her human at all times.

✅Young, but past the puppy stage at two years old.

✅Friendly to people, cats, and large and small dogs. Has good greeting and play behavior.

✅Rarely barks and isn’t reactive or afraid of people or other dogs.

✅Very sweet and has the kind of temperament that allows her to adapt to new environments quickly.

✅ Small, 15 pounds. PERFECT lap-size dog who loves to cuddle!

✅Recently spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

✅Working on potty training and basic commands.

✅Enjoys shaking plushies and then tossing them in the air.

Finn is new to the CFR family. He is a little shy, but is coming out of his shell already. His foster says no accidents in the house or crate! We look forward to watching him grow and gain confidence and to him finding a forever family. He is 9 months old, weighs 12 pounds and is dog friendly.

Sweet Luna is officially settling in, and we already know she’s going to be someone’s absolute dream dog.

Luna is 2 years old, about 55 pounds, and a shepherd mix who is wonderful with dogs, cats, AND children! She’s also the kind of dog you can take to a patio and end up with a steady stream of people asking, “Can I pet your dog?”

She’s sweet, kind, and gentle, walks well on a leash, and is housebroken. Basically, Luna comes ready to be your best friend.

What she really wants is a family to call her very own—someone who will play with her, love her, spoil her, and give her approximately 10,000 head pats a day.

Ryker was found as a stray. He was severely matted and had to be shaved. When shaved, he was found to be covered in ticks and fleas under the heavy, matted coat - amazingly he was heartworm negative. Poor beautiful boy! He really is a looker. He is good with dogs and loves to play with them. He is about 3 years old and weighs 62 lbs. He is a snuggler! Great with children and all he wants is to be loved on. When picked up, 6-7 year old child was walking him around the yard on a slip lead - he didn't pull, he just walked gently with the child. He is social and wants to be with his person - He is just the best dog! He loves, loves affection and giving it back in return. Applications to foster or adopt Ryker are at codysfriendsrescue.org

The amazingly beautiful Jenny is 54 lbs of loyalty & love! Jenny is a bundle of energy and would fit perfectly in a home with a confident alpha human. She is 3 years old.

She loves kids the most!!! Jenny knows sit, how to take snacks gently, how to walk on a leash, and never meets a stranger. She likes ALL toys (the more chewing the better) and loves water, being sprayed by the water hose, and submerging herself in the pool!

Her favorite solo pasttime is a long-lasting chew or hanging with her human friends. Jenny likes to catch/return the ball, and any activity to spend time with you! She is a snuggler and takes naps in your lap, in her crate or in her spot on the couch. At night, she sleeps curled up with her foster mom and other fur friends. She knows her manners and morning/bedtime routine!

She is crate trained, has the best personality, and while she loves all other animals, she would have NO PROBLEM being a spoiled only pet. Jenny is a great girl and will make someone a wonderful best bud.

Ronnie is one of the adorable Nevada Pups and is ready to find a family of his own. This sweet Cattle Dog mix is just over 5 months old and weighs 39 pounds. He is a playful little guy who enjoys making new friends and is doing great in foster care. Ronnie is up to date on his vaccinations, gets along well with other dogs, and is good with kids. Like all puppies, he is still learning the ropes and will need a family committed to helping him grow into the amazing companion he is meant to be.
