🎉 VICTORY! 🎉 The Oregon Legislature has allocated $67 MILLION for Employment Related Day Care (ERDC)!
This is a HUGE win for working families across our state. 💪
What this means:
✅ Mothers & caregivers can access child care vouchers to go to work
✅ Children get the care they need to thrive

Oregon lawmakers just took action to put working families and local businesses first, not special interests or billionaire tax loopholes. This legislation pushes back against the kind of tax breaks championed under Trump that overwhelmingly benefit large corporations and the ultra-wealthy, while leaving states to fill the gaps.
Strong public services don’t happen by accident. They happen when we make sure everyone pays their fair share and invest in the people who live and work here.
