We finally did it! It took 4 days to build the walls, add the shelves & place my items in the booth to sell, but I’m pleased with the way it turned out. I can’t thank my husband enough for all of his hard work and support for my new adventure. I’m hoping I did this at an opportune time before the holidays. I’ve already sold a few items, so here’s hoping for more sales to support my art addiction!

Well folks, it was a good run, but I'm announcing the closing of my staging business. I'm closing it due to the crazy housing marketing not needing staging as much, but more importantly to give me time to devote to my real passion....Art. I'm opening up a booth at a local mercantile, called Lone Star Mercantile located at the corner of Custer Road and McDermott Dr., in Allen, TX. The booth's (A803 on Riverwalk Blvd.) Grand Opening is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 3rd. So come out and support all of the small business vendors and find some great items. I will be displaying my Resin, Watercolor, Acrylic and Alcohol Inks, as well as a lot of Home Decor items. Thank you for all of your nice words of encouragement about my art pieces and giving me the courage to start a new adventure. Hope to see you there!

I made these little wooden ornaments with the bloom technique using my new pigments.

After the fresh flowers dwindled, I added these gold & white silk flowers to last the rest of the Christmas season.

In less than a week, this house on Stanmere Dr. in Frisco received an offer $101,000 over the asking price. Amazing! Staging really does help sell houses quicker and for a higher price. I’m sure people could see themselves enjoying that decked out media room!

This was a small enhancement stage where we brought in accessories to give it a pop for the photography pics.

We’ve staged this floor plan 3 times now in Plano, but it’s fun changing it up!

I’ve wanted to try the “bloom” technique for a while, so I tried it in several different colors.

New arrangements & fresh decor make the house feel fresher & livelier after taking down all of the Christmas decor. Just a little nod to come for Spring!

Here's just a few more things I've been up to. I sewed some Euro shams for staging, since a lot of homes look good with navy and I had some fabric laying around. I made a couple of signs using my Cricut machine and did a new gold succulent floral arrangement for the dining table. Thank goodness for Amazon for keeping me supplied!
