We’re excited to welcome Dr. Saida Abdi as a featured speaker for the Whole Child, Whole Community Symposium!

A nationally recognized expert in refugee trauma and resilience, Dr. Abdi has spent more than 20 years working alongside immigrant and refugee youth and families to strengthen systems of care and community support.

We’re honored to have her join us for this important conversation on June 18.

Our students were excited to receive “Hugs of Hope” bags from Color me SAFE Foundation and Charities2Love! Together, they donated more than 40 thoughtfully prepared bags filled with stuffed animals, mindful toys, books, and heartfelt notes from volunteers.

These gifts may seem small, but they make a big impact. Our students truly look forward to receiving these bags each year, and we are incredibly thankful for the care, compassion, and encouragement poured into every single one. 💛

We’re so grateful to have had Maria join us this semester for her capstone project! 💛 From leading meaningful activities to connecting with our students, her impact has been felt in so many ways.

Her work focused on building emotional awareness, confidence, and healthy coping skills and our students loved every moment.

Seeing our students light up with excitement and joy made the day incredibly special. Moments like these remind us how important it is to create fun, meaningful experiences for our kids.

We loved celebrating International Women's Day by honoring the incredible women who support our students every day 💐
