Of course, we’ll also be talking about what we do best: solving construction logistics challenges from freight and material transportation to end dump trucking, aggregates, and jobsite coordination.

Who’s going to Build Fort Worth this year? 👇

A few years ago, I was learning how to navigate the construction industry. Now I get to be part of the conversation about where it’s going. 💛❤️

I’m honored to be speaking at the WBCS Multi-Industry Summit on August 5.

Representing RHCA as a Board Member and Chair of the Training & Capacity Building Committee, I’ll be sharing what we’re seeing across North Texas construction: the opportunities, the challenges, and how small businesses can better position themselves to participate.

And that’s important to me.

Construction opportunities aren’t only for contractors. Logistics companies, suppliers, manufacturers, professional services, technology firms and many other small businesses help make these projects happen.

There is room for us. But we have to understand the industry, build our capabilities, and show up ready.

I've spent a lot of time on construction sites lately, and one thing keeps standing out...

Project teams already have enough to worry about.

Keeping crews productive.
Managing schedules.
Working around the weather.
Meeting deadlines.

They shouldn't have to wonder where the truck is or if the material will arrive on time.

Good logistics doesn't make the headlines. It quietly keeps the project moving.

And honestly, that's something I can really appreciate.

Today I attended an outreach event for a major construction project in Fort Worth, TX, and one of the best parts was running into friends from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Cohort 35 (Dallas).

We still have three weeks to go, but one thing is already clear: the relationships we're building are just as valuable as the knowledge we're gaining.

One thing I've learned over the years is that you never know where you'll cross paths again. That's the power of showing up, building genuine relationships, and supporting one another.

Wishing everyone the best as they pursue opportunities on this exciting project. Looking forward to celebrating our Cohort 35 graduation together soon!

This week we had the opportunity to be on Univision Dallas sharing something I’m incredibly passionate about: creating opportunities through education.

As an RHCA Board Member, I was honored to help promote the RHCA Training & Capacity Building Program, supported by NCCER, and the many training opportunities available to help individuals build careers and strengthen construction businesses.

When we invest in people, we build a stronger workforce, safer jobsites, and a stronger industry.
