Our founder had the recent opportunity to visit the Vatican, where faith leaders gathered for dialogue around peace and cooperation across religions.
In a meeting with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, there was a shared reminder that even in a divided world, people of faith can come together to build understanding, trust, and lasting peace.
We believe this work matters deeply for Africa and beyond. When we choose dialogue, unity, and cooperation, we take meaningful steps toward healing and hope for our communities.

Happy birthday to our founder and the visionary behind Vision Africa, Archbishop Dr. Sunday Onuoha. Happy birthday to our founder and the visionary behind Vision Africa, Archbishop Dr. Sunday Onuoha.
We are grateful for his faithful leadership and the heart he brings to this mission. Through his vision, Vision Africa has continued to grow in ways that bring hope, care, and opportunity to communities across Nigeria.
Today we celebrate his life, his leadership, and the many lives that have been touched through this work. Please join us in wishing him a blessed birthday and keeping him in your prayers for the year ahead.
Earlier this month, the Vision Africa Radio High Schools Debate Program celebrated its 15th year! During this time, this program has brought students together to sharpen their critical thinking, strengthen their English language skills, and grow in confidence as young leaders. We are grateful for our strong partnership with the Abia State Ministry of Education and for the dedication of teachers, school leaders, and students who make this program possible each year.
Watching these young voices develop and step forward with confidence is always inspiring. We pray this experience continues to shape the thoughtful, courageous leaders our future needs.

Meet Mrs. Nwabueze, one of Vision Africa Radio's most cherished listeners and a reminder of why we do what we do. Due to an accident in her youth that left her paralyzed, Mrs. Nwabueze has been bedridden and in the care of her family for over 40 years. For someone unable to attend church or engage with her community in person, it's easy to feel isolated and alone, but Vision Africa Radio has become her lifeline.
She tunes in every hour, listening to every program, and even knows the names of everyone on our team. For Mrs. Nwabueze, the station is more than just a source of news, inspiration, and worship. It’s a way to connect with her faith and her community. When we visited her, she shared how much Vision Africa means to her, calling us more than just a radio station. For her, we are family.
Stories like Mrs. Nwabueze’s are why your support matters. Every program we broadcast brings connection, hope, and the love of Christ to listeners like her, many of whom may otherwise feel forgotten. Together, we can continue to be a beacon of light to those in need

Through Vision Africa’s Prison Outreach in Umuahia, we continue to walk alongside men and women who are navigating life behind prison walls. Our team advocates for improved conditions, provides practical support, and helps create opportunities for growth and learning. From supporting education through WAEC exams and university studies, to offering limited legal assistance and providing everyday essentials, this work reminds us that every person deserves dignity, care, and hope.
Please keep these people in your prayers as they continue their journeys toward restoration and new beginnings.

Too many families in Nigeria still live hours away from basic medical care. Malaria, pregnancy complications, and treatable illnesses take lives simply because help comes too late.
That reality is why Agnes Onuoha Memorial Hospital was built where it is. Its location is intentional, placing compassionate medical care within reach of communities who need it most.
As you can see, we are making steady progress! But this vision is only possible because of partners who share the calling to bring healing and hope closer to home. If you feel led, we invite you to pray and take one step forward with us.

In many parts of Nigeria, daily life carries real risk. Violence, fear, and uncertainty affect families and communities in ways that are difficult to imagine. But Scripture reminds us that God has not left us without direction.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9
At Vision Africa, we believe this calling is active and purposeful. We are committed to working toward peace through presence, dialogue, and trust. If this speaks to your heart, we would love you to share this with a friend. The more people know about our mission, the more we can continue to across Nigeria, and beyond.

Earlier this month, the leadership of the Methodist Church Nigeria gathered in Asaba, Delta State, for a prayer summit and important conversations about the future of the Church.
There was a deep sense of purpose in the atmosphere. This summit last took place in Asaba more than fifty years ago, and returning to the same city carried both history and hope.
Throughout the week, leaders engaged in prayer and thoughtful dialogue about how to faithfully reposition the Church for the years ahead. Moments like these remind us that renewal begins in prayer and is sustained through courage, unity, and vision.
We hope you're enjoying these updates from the field. Please join us in praying for wisdom and strength for our brothers and sisters in Christ!
