Country # 16: Roatán, Honduras 🇭🇳

Honduras wasn’t high on my travel radar, but I’m glad it made the itinerary.

From holding Honduran lempiras in my hand, to learning about cacao trees (the source of chocolate 🍫), to quiet beach views and fresh island food with the ocean right there, Roatán surprised me in the best way.

Another reminder that sometimes the “unexpected” stops end up being the highlight.

Sea days really had me in my element on this 7-day Royal Caribbean cruise 🚢
