How fun! A liquid line sight glass allows you to view the liquid refrigerant returning to the outside condenser. That liquid is carrying the heat transferred from the indoor air, which will then be discharged outdoors. It is then converted back to a v***r and sent up to your attic ev***rator coils to pick up more heat as the air crosses the coils. Refrigeration circuit!

Cool product . I did this house in Florida and they take humidity seriously and install dedicated supplemental dehumidification which is essential in their climate zone and arguably in our climate zone as well.

Do all of your airsealing during construction so that your homeowners don’t have to come back 30 years later and add blocking, tape, and caulking to keep rodents out. 🐀
