Balfour Beatty was proud to once again join our partners at Perkins&Will, Sherwin-Williams, Encotech Engineering Consultants, Coleman & Associates, Texas Disposal Systems, EMA and Austin ISD students and staff for the annual USGBC Texas Green Apple Day of Service.
Together, volunteers sanded and painted new picnic tables for several Title I Austin ISD schools and repaired existing tables at Navarro Early College High School, helping create more opportunities for outdoor learning and connection.
In addition to supporting materials, our team was grateful for the opportunity to give back through hands-on service: bringing time, tools and energy to support local students and school communities.

On the Nova Southeastern University Health Professions Division Terry Cafeteria expansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, our teammates exemplified excellence through a series of interconnected mini projects.
Our work encompassed sensitive utilities requiring careful planning, precise phasing and coordination with the owner, their physical plant team, our trade partners and Florida Power & Light to minimize disruption to building operations.
Across a variety of tasks, our team completed the work safely, efficiently and ahead of schedule, reflecting our ability to manage complex technical efforts while maintaining operations – and exceeding expectations!
