"Here's the thing, the stigma doesn't come from them, the stigma comes from y'all. That's where the stigma comes from. We've gotta do a better job of how we hold the people God has given us some charge of. And I want to make sure that we have done a good job of that at The Afiya Center"

Thank you to all volunteers, we cannot make these events happen without you!
That year we started a new tradition of creating an altar where we lit candles for all the women we’ve lost, and next year we are making the event an opportunity for Black Survivors to have a beautiful night out and celebrate themselves, digging deeper into the goal of lifting Black Women with Reproductive Justice. The Afiya Center is so in love with y’all that our work is centered around creating spaces where we feel seen and valued...next year will be even bigger and better!
Thank y’all for your continued support!
