Simply Inkspired
Art depicted in deep details and finite intricacies, to illustrate the omni-presence of God in the beauty of life. Most people communicate with words.
I communicate best through my artwork. To me, it is like an open journal into my life, illustrating struggles through sharp lines and dark colors, and happiness through curves and bright colors. The more intricate details in a piece, the more I have to say, And I have a lot to say. So I encourage you to please look at my artwork, and share my ups and downs with every stroke of the pen I make and c

Ending this year with gratitude in my heart and trust in whatâs ahead. God was faithful in every seasonâthrough the answered prayers, the waiting, the lessons, and even the moments I didnât understand at the time. As this chapter closes, Iâm choosing to rest in His timing, lay down what Iâm not meant to carry, and step forward with hope and faith for the year to come. Amen.
Having hope.
Not because everything is perfectâ
but because we choose to believe something beautiful is still unfolding.
Hope grows in layers.
In the waiting.
In trusting the process before the picture is complete.
If you need a reminder today, this is it:
hope can surround you, hold you, and meet you right where you are.
Save this for later đ¤
Day 2 of the art advent calendar
A travel brush thatâs ready whenever inspiration strikesâat home or on the go.
Round brushes are my go-to! Are they yours too?
Save this if watercolor tools make your heart happy đ¤
I started this piece with my two least favorite colorsâ
the ones I usually avoid because they never feel âme.â
But sometimes creativity asks us to make peace with what feels uncomfortableâŚ
to trust that something beautiful can still come from what we donât naturally love.
Layer by layer, those colors softened, blended, and surprised meâ
proving that beauty isnât limited to what we prefer,
and growth doesnât happen only in comfortable places.
Art is funny like thatâ
it teaches us to embrace what weâd normally reject,
to experiment with grace,
and to let the unexpected become lovely.
Day 1 of my Etchr Lab 12-day art advent calendar!
My husband surprised me with this for Christmas, and itâs meant to be opened from December 25 through January 5âone little creative joy each day. đ¤
Weâre starting with the cutest Etchr llama pin đŚ

Follow along as I open one each day and share whatâs inside.
Where should I pin this little guy? Comment your suggestions below to give me some ideas!

This season, we donât just celebrate the beauty of Christmasâwe celebrate the miracle. â¨
God stepping into the world, wrapped in humility and love, changing everything forever.
Amid the lights, the decorations, and the busyness, may we pause to remember the true gift:
âFor unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.â â Isaiah 9:6 đ
Take a quiet moment today to reflect on His grace, and let your heart make room for Him this Christmas.
đ¤ Save this as a reminder, share it with someone who could use encouragement, and tell meâwhat does the true meaning of Christmas look like for you?

A simple wreath to celebrate a sacred seasonâevergreen hope, gentle joy, and love that never fades. đ¤đ
As the world grows louder, may our hearts grow quieter, making room for what truly matters. Christmas is a reminder that hope was born, light entered the darkness, and love came near.
May this season point us back to faith, gratitude, and the beauty of His presence in even the simplest moments.
