As many of you wasn’t aware of where the name “Joom” Café came from, it’s named after my mom who is currently fighting breast cancer (for the third time), but this time has to go through chemo/surgery. There are multiple meanings for “joom” in Thai: a pebble hitting the water as a metaphor for coffee dripping; something cute and tiny. But the main reason was for my mom.

Just wanted to put her in the spotlight because she’s a very special person. She was the number one person I could always rely on and I’m grateful for that. Love you, Mom!

This was fun and thank you guys for continuing to support! Taco y Vino will be hosting us every first Sunday of the month! Looking to lock down other spots on the weekends, so stay tuned! 😊
