What happens when we stop treating artists like the entertainment and start recognizing them as the “culture carriers” they’ve always been? 🎨

Artists don’t just make things beautiful— they create the symbols, stories, traditions, and rallying points that help communities move forward.

From revolutions to religion to democracy, creative intelligence has always shaped how we understand the world, and how we change it.

So why isn’t that intelligence in the room? The future of social change needs artists at the table. Not just on the stage.

🎤 What role do you think artists should play in shaping our communities?

Selling a property is always interesting, especially when there are a lot of stuck emotions involved. Space clearing will not help with incorrect pricing, but it absolutely shifts the energy and makes it more appealing, even online!!

If you get this postcard, DO NOT click on the link. It is Elon stealing your data and giving you a false impression that you are registered to vote. VoteTexas.GOV is legit and the deadline is October 5th.

The right connection isn’t always romantic. It could be the business partner who just gets it, or the contractor who understands exactly what you need, or the friend you instantly click with.

But there’s another side to connection: intensity.

This month’s message is to notice when something—or someone—lights you up, but also recognize when that intensity starts burning too hot.

Think about a candle. Fire creates warmth and light, but too much fire can burn it out.

The same is true for us. Connection is beautiful. Chemistry is powerful. But protecting your own identity matters, too.

Know when to lean in.
Know when to step back.
And don’t let something that feels good consume the very thing that makes you you. 🔥

Sometimes the hardest part of growth isn’t becoming a new version of yourself; it’s accepting that the new version of you may no longer fit where the old version did.

As our internal frequency changes, our values, priorities, confidence, awareness, and sense of purpose can change with it. Suddenly, the relationship, organization, career, partnership, or even location that once felt like a natural fit doesn’t feel the same anymore.

That doesn’t automatically mean something is wrong; it may mean something has shifted. The challenge is learning to notice when attraction is waning without desperately trying to keep it alive.

Growth requires releasing our attachment to things staying the same— what are you holding onto simply because it “feel right”?

Maybe you’re not going backward, maybe you’re learning the steps. Every new endeavor has its own rhythm.

Two steps forward. Two steps back. A change in direction.
A moment where you wonder, “Am I even doing this right?”

You’re learning— new beginnings are uncomfortable because you’re doing something your brain, body, and confidence haven’t mastered yet.

So instead of judging yourself every time you stumble, notice where you are. That awareness allows you to adjust, learn, and keep moving. Because life isn’t always a straight line.

Sometimes it’s more of a cha-cha. 💃🏽 And that’s okay.

What if the thing you keep calling a “weakness” is actually a story you’ve been rehearsing? For years, the story was: “I’m just bad with technology.” But eventually came a different realization: It wasn’t technology. It was patience, and that distinction changes everything.

When we label ourselves—“I’m bad at this,” “I’m not a people person,” “I’m terrible under pressure”—we stop investigating the problem. We turn a behavior into an identity. And once something becomes part of our identity, we start making decisions around it.

The next time you catch yourself saying “That’s just how I am,” take a beat. Ask yourself: “Is this actually who I am—or is this simply a pattern I haven’t challenged yet?”

Sometimes growth doesn’t begin with learning something new; it begins with questioning the story that told you you couldn’t.
