Texas blues was alive and loud this afternoon in Cockrell Hill as Texas Flood delivered a powerful, high-energy set that felt like a true tribute to the legacy of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Known for their authentic sound, the band—led by guitarist Tommy Katona—brought blistering solos, soulful vocals, and a tight rhythm section that kept the crowd locked in from start to finish.
From gritty blues riffs to crowd-pleasing classics, Texas Flood didn’t just play the music—they captured the spirit of it. The atmosphere was electric, with the community vibe, outdoor setting, and pure Texas blues energy making it a standout afternoon show.
