It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of Dr. Ralph Rashbaum, one of TBI’s founding physicians. For those of you that knew him, I am sure you have a story. He was a great surgeon with a big personality. He had a heart of gold and cared deeply about his patients and the people with whom he worked. He was passionate about the care that TBI delivered to patients and was involved in all aspects of the business from patient care to research, education and patient rights. He was a guiding light in TBI’s history and helped mold TBI to be the entity it is today. He was a mentor to many new surgeons and a leader in the spine industry. He will be missed by many people, but he leaves us with great memories. He had a life well-lived and is a TBI legend. Rest in peace, Dr. Rashbaum!
