Happy Monday everyone!!! Michael here and I just wanted to take a moment and share.... If you follow me here on Facebook or Instagram you may have seen this in the story. This weekend, I got a Bldg. Architecture sign as a belated Father's Day gift from my parents. It wasn't a "normal" Father's Day gift but one that was extra special. It made me stop and think about all the support and help that I've gotten so far along this journey from family, friends, and colleagues. Thanks everyone for the support!! Y'all. I'm gonna tell you a story about this sign.

My friend and neighbor, Brenda Kinsey is the owner and manager of Timber Ridge Estates. Brenda's son-in-law, Harrison, works with my father-in-law, David Fittz at Refrigeration Design Technologies, Inc.

Polar Metalworks Inc. is part of RDT and between Brenda, Harrison, my brother-in-law Michael Fittz of Bldg. Architecture, and myself, this sign turned out perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased with the work and I'm just amazed at how everything came together for Timber Ridge Estates.

The sign makes it real, y'all. But seriously, how cool are all these connections?! When you need amazing signage, you need to call RDT!

I'm so excited to FINALLY announce that .architecture has launched! It's been so hard to keep this one under wraps! Possibly my favorite project to date, bldg. architecture packs a lot into one little logo.

The bldg square uses both custom designed and sourced typography, and 20˚ angles throughout as a nod to the year this idea started to become a reality - 2020. The logo fits perfectly in the title block on architectural drawings and really looks incredible.

The blue we rely on is Prussian Blue - the same blue that makes blueprints blue. While architects don't use blueprints any more, the iconic color has stood the test of time. We offset the blue with a complimentary orange that really just elevated the entire design.

You'll notice the founder's last name is the same as mine. Michael Fittz happens to be my brother-in-law! Everyone tells you not to work with family, but I have the best family. It has been an absolute joy and honor to work with him to bring his vision to life and move his business forward.
