CEPR connects nearly 2,000 economists across 30 countries. When they needed a public platform where researchers and policymakers could discover publications and profiles, all the data already existed — inside a CiviCRM system their team depended on daily.

We built a read-only database architecture so public traffic wouldn't affect the primary system, a real-time indexing pipeline so search results updated automatically, and a unified taxonomy that let staff tag both Drupal content and CiviCRM records with the same terms. A membership badge on a provider's website is a trust signal. It tells visitors this organization meets a standard. But if that badge can stay up after a membership expires, the signal breaks down.

For NAATP, we built a dynamic seal system that solves this. Seals are served remotely and connected to CiviCRM membership data. When a membership lapses, the seal is disabled automatically — no email to the member, no manual follow-up, no delay.

It's a small technical detail with a real impact on how much the credential means.

US Chess affiliates wanted to email their members. The national organization needed to keep the member list private.

We built a solution that does both — a custom CiviCRM module that lets chapters send targeted emails to their members without accessing the contact data directly. The list stays protected. The chapters get the outreach they need.

It's a good example of using open-source tools to solve a real governance problem without a workaround.

Johnson County Government needed a better way to manage public class registrations, payments, and certificates across departments — without forcing every team to work the same way.

We built a unified platform using Drupal and CiviCRM that handles it all from one place. Each department configures its own events, certificates, and reporting. Residents use one consistent, county-branded experience. And participants can now print their own certificates from their dashboard — no staff involvement needed.

What started with childcare licensing has expanded to mental health and public training programs, with more departments coming on board.
