On another episode of Rebuilding Queen Label: Why I’ve decided to source in Europe after 7 years.

The more that I evolve as the founder, this brand will also evolve. This means slower production with more intentional processes and ethically sourced materials.
I started this brand not knowing a thing about designing a bag from concept to prototype to product. Since starting, I’ve done a lot more research and realized there’s a certain type of leather I want to use and I want slower production.

Behind the scenes of having a meeting with a workshop in Europe. My focus is to ensure that all production is done in-house, seeing the leathers and seeing where they are sourced from, seeing the artisans and the working conditions, and building a relationship.

My goal moving forward for our next collections is to be more intentional and putting more effort into the bags I plan to produce.

Starting a Series of Rebuilding Queen Label.

When I started this brand in 2019, I had no clue of anything. All I knew was that I got a vision from God and designing handbags was an outlet for the mental health struggle I was going through.

As a founder and CEO of this brand, I handle all of this things for Queen Label. The only thing that I’ve sourced out has been the rebranding and the photography/visuals.
Queen Label is 7 years in and a lot has changed since starting. The new direction of this company will be being more intentional about the handbags I produce and the materials we source and use.

I disappeared for a while. Becoming a first time mom humbled me in ways I wasn’t ready for.

There were days I doubted my ability to still build the brand, show up online, and be everything I use to be. I never let it stopped me. I’m back and working on new things.

I have to be 100% honest and let you know that it has not been the easiest year of building Queen Label while raising my baby boy but this is what I love and I love giving my customers the bag they deserve; quality at a great price point ✨
