From dark and dreary to light and bright! This room was dark with a large dark built-in bookshelf. In addition to painting the walls a lighter color, the built-in bookshelf was painted white to lighten the room. A large-scale wallpaper was added to the back and became the focal point of the piece. The traditional wood rosettes were removed and a geometric design was created using the pattern from the wallpaper. A stainless-steel top was added to give it a modern feel. What a great way to end the week! I installed a completely custom hand blown glass masterpiece. There were 58 pieces! My client and I selected each color and the linear style for her bedroom. How cool to wake up to this everyday! 👍🏻
