Bryan Jarrett
Public Figure
Last year while in prayer, I sensed the Lord asking me to lead our church into a year where we would commit to: Giving Honor and Adding Value: To Everybody, Everywhere, All the Time.
The foundational piece of being able to live this way is understanding this fundamental biblical truth: Identity and Honor are inseparable. Every human being is an Image-Bearer. We don’t just bare the fingerprints of God. We have literally been created in the Image of God.
Understanding the “Image of God” on you, and on others, impacts the way you show and experience Honor. When you truly live as if every human being is an Image Bearer, it will impact the way you relate to God, to yourself, and to everybody else.
When you intentionally dishonor another person, in essence, you are disparaging the God in Whose image they have been made.
Human life is holy and sacred. And because all people matter to God, ALL people should be valued by us.
The only public I really care about “hearing” me is my Northplace family. Northplace, don’t get caught up in the fray of devaluing and dishonoring or defending those who do.
Because “the love of Christ compels us” (2 Corinthians 5:14), we WILL Give Honor and Add Value, to Everybody, Everywhere, All the Time.
In a church comprised of people from over 100 nations of the world made up of almost every ethnicity and color on the planet, remember the words of Paul: “One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:5-6)
We are one family in Christ Jesus. And to every person of color, to every immigrant family in our church, I see you, I love you and I’m honored you are on this journey with me as spiritual family.
PS. My profile is a rarely used place for me to share my heart and thoughts with the people I pastor. If you want to argue or spread dishonor in any way, your comments will deleted and/or blocked. Take it somewhere else. Or better yet, check your heart.

It's hard to believe that this baby girl grew up to be this woman of God. But she's still my baby girl. Happy 22nd birthday, Addi! I love you!

In these throw back pics you see two scared but excited teenage kids about to get married.
The one with the yellow umbrella is actually our honeymoon.
We were married 32 years ago today.
We were intimidated by the future but madly in love with each other and Jesus.
We had nothing but a travel tailer and an old suburban to pull it. Everything in our world fit in them and we couldn't have been more excited to give ourselves to the Lord's work.
Now 32 years later, we've literally traveled the world together in ministry...started businesses...know the joy of being called "Pastor" by thousands of people who have become our spiritual family...and had 3 amazing kids who have given us a beautiful natural family that are all serving Jesus and His Church.
What a journey Jesus and this beautiful woman have made possible for me!
We're still excited about our future AND still madly in love!!
Happy Anniversary Haley! I love you!
As I continue to hear the news and see the images of missing campers from the flooding in south Texas, it's heartbreaking on so many levels. I feel it as a parent and grandparent. I feel it as a pastor that has sent so many kids to camp. I feel it as the founder and director of a kids camp.
I just can't imagine.
We are in relationship with people who know many of these missing girls personally. Our hearts break for everyone connected to this.
And for all the people in these local communities.
Please join us in prayer.
God have mercy.

WOW! Thank you!
The partners and friends of Lonesome Dove Ranch are amazingly generous people. We have reached the goal, sponsored every camper and funded every camp. To all our long time partners AND new friends that gave this year for the first time, Thank You! We did it!
Now...2 more camps to go. Our first camps ever for teenagers!

We are almost there!!
We so close to the goal!!
I’m preparing this post late Sunday evening on Father’s Day, having just left a chapel service full of men and women that have sacrificed time from their own families and taken vacation time to invest in children who desperately need to feel loved. This gathering happens before every camp to prepare our hearts to receive a new group of kids who will bring their unique needs to the ranch, but there’s always something special about this gathering on Father’s Day.
When I look at all the men in the room who have committed to be a father figure to a child that doesn’t have one, it wrecks me...in a good way.
These people’s service and your generosity are making an incredible impact on the lives of children. For example, here’s just one small sampling of a communication we received from a foster mom whose kids attended camp last week. She said:
"I have two foster kids that just returned from Camp today in happy tears because it was so amazing. I promised them we will go again next year. I don’t know how to thank you and everyone else for everything y’all did for K and N. I don’t know what words to use and what I could do that could ever show how much it means to me. Thank you!"
Foster families are the real heroes in this fight for neglected children. We just get to come along beside them and assist in the healing journey. And as you can see, you are helping all of us make a massive difference.
At the time of this post, we are only $22,851 short the total budget to fund every camp and sponsor every camper this summer. The total budget for this year’s camps was $210,000. Thanks to the generosity of a lot of people, we are almost there! Can you help us cross the finish line?
