Recording continues for the upcoming release - old friend Joe Stobaugh, whose sax magic was heard on "High Mileage" found a moment to drop by and add some sparkle to a track, and today I'm whomping the djembe a bit - basic tracks are done and it's overdub and sweeten time, with four songs being fully fledged and ready for mixing and mastering as this is being written. I'm still fighting sinus infection/scratchy throat/general yuck, but carrying on...
As the finish line approaches on the recording, other plans are afoot, as sketched in a recent missive to the Patreon community. Join our little circle for as little as $1/month to stay in the loop and get all that's on the way (including the new wreckord!).

A quick update -
Good things: a few days of nice weather, amazing pictures from the moon, and--

Bad things: well, most of the rest, including a nagging sinus infection....
In the midst of it all, part of resistance is just to keep going and doing -
Basic tracks (rhythm guitar bed and lead vocals) for the upcoming release are complete, and a fair bit of the overdubbing - hoping to devote May to mixing and mastering!
(PS - the next Bandcamp Friday is May 1, and every cent of that goes toward duplication and other recording costs!)
There was new public post to the Patreon last week, and another brief one will be up soon - please consider joining the little community that keeps the "record" lamp lit!
Side note: AI is a scourge - beside the outrageous environmental cost, the people running the show have NO moral compass: please see the horrifying story of Murphy Campbell, who not only had her music and image stolen, but the company who stole them placed copyright claims against her own posts!
Okay, things are heavy out there - look for the helpers and bright moments, keep your close ones close, and above all, stay noisy!!
