Crowned Initiative is a team of worshipers devoted to helping others find healing &salvation in Jesus The old has passed away; behold, the new has come".
Most of our songs genuinely describe our personal journeys and we share our testimonies for the purpose of inspiring, motivating, and empowering. Our "Crowned Initiative" name is symbolic and describes our mission---From of the ashes of broken dreams, pain, and adversity, we've been transformed and are new creations because of the amazing love, mercy and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This song was inspired by Isaiah 44:22 NIV: “I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you!”
Melinda wrote this song after going through one of the most challenging seasons of her life. She faced intense losses in her family, finances, job, and health. She felt like she was in a pit of loss and despair, in utter darkness. BUT GOD! Jesus pulled her out of that pit and restored everything she thought was lost to her forever. In fact He blessed her beyond what she could have imagined!

This song was inspired by Luke 1:37, "For nothing will be impossible with God.” We wrote this to give God the glory for the amazing things He has done in our lives. There have been so many times when it seemed like there was absolutely no way out of a situation. But then God showed up and He made a way; He has saved us so many times! Our God was, is, and will always be THE GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE! Hallelujah!

This song is inspired by Philippians 2:8-11. Steven Moore wrote this song at a time he was struggling with self-pity, shame, and unforgiveness toward all those people in his life that he had hurt and who hurt him. He was angry and sorry at the same time! He was reminded of Christ’s sacrifice for all of us on the cross and moments later, this song poured out. It has been a longer wait than expected, but our newest single “Run To You” is available NOW!!! Steven Moore was inspired to write this song after reflecting on Romans 8:38-39. He noted “This is my favorite scripture. For years Satan convinced me that I was not redeemable based on my thoughts and things I've done. I literally thought I predestined for Hell. I was hopeless and struggled with depression”. After a family crisis, Steven spiraled down so much that he contemplated su***de. It took him hitting rock bottom (and a lot of prayer and counseling) to understand Romans 8:38-39. After a time of healing and recovery, God gave him the inspiration to write this song. We hope you love it as much as we do!!!
