How easy is it to give God praise when things are going well in life? It’s like second nature to respond to “God is good” with “all the time” when you’re living your best life and are at a spiritual high. But do we truly believe that? Are we actually convinced that God is good ALL THE TIME? Can we say He’s good when we experience disappointment after disappointment, when we’re at our lowest, when we lose a loved one, when we don’t know where our next meal is coming from or if we’ll have a place to live next month, when you don’t get the results you were praying for, when everyone around you is achieving all their goals and you feel like you’re falling behind, when all we want to do is give up on everything and everyone? The Bible tells us that God will never fail us nor abandon us. In the moment, it may feel like He has done just that, but we don’t see all the blessings He’s already given us. The very fact that we’re alive and breathing is enough reason to give Him praise.
This weekend we were able to participate in a Praise Break event hosted by . Students from far and near along with people in our community came together and took a break from their everyday lives to experience a weekend of PRAISE. We left it all at the altar, our struggles, our worries, the pressures of this world and just PRAISED. God was moving this weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of it. Even when we don’t see God moving, we praise. Even when He doesn’t give us the answer we want, we praise. We may not see Him working at this very moment, but we’ll see those blessings in the future and it’ll be a powerful testimony.

We are so excited to be joining the KFW Area for Global Youth Day tomorrow March 15th. We can't wait to worship with you and hear all about your day!
Global Youth Day (GYD), an annual event led by the Youth Department of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, encourages young people to “Be the Sermon” by engaging in service and showing the love of Jesus through acts of kindness. GYD aims to mobilize Adventist youth for service and to contribute to the proclamation of the gospel, ultimately ushering in the second coming of Jesus Christ.
