Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15) celebrates the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic- and Latin-American communities – specifically, those whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

“Never apologize for being a powerful woman”. Women in all walks of life struggle with what society and the world in general throw at them. Through it all they show the strength to push through and challenge those who oppose them and shine regardless. In honor of International Women’s Day I came up with an idea for strong women to show their pride for their diverse nationalities and backgrounds. We have Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Finland and Scotland all represented here.
