Why Invest in High Quality Promotional Products

I gathered this data from a survey completed by ASI awhile back . Melinda Ligos of ASI wrote that a decision to buy promotional products it's not always about price. Contrary to what you might think, price in many cases is not a primary factor when an end-buyer selects a promotional product. As a matter of fact, 44% of the buyers in this survey believe the quality of the product is more important than the price.

As you can see from the chart, the number 1 reason these buyers chose advertising specialty items is business gifts followed by customer loyalty programs and trade shows. As you might expect, shirts, pens and desk accessories were the top three most effective promotional products followed by food gifts and gift cards.

Most buyers in the survey gauge the value of specialty advertising products by their usefulness. The more useful, the more effective for their program. One buyer commented, "I'm a big believer in using items with high-perceived value for people who have serious conversations with you rather than handing out hundreds of items to random people whose sole mission it is to get every freebie they can.
