Three people, including a child, have died after a gas explosion sparked a massive five alarm fire at an apartment complex in Dallas. Irving police say a 33 year old man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly stabbing his grandmother and mother during an attack outside a Las Colinas apartment complex on May 17.

According to investigators, both victims suffered serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals. The suspect was arrested at the scene and remains in custody at the Dallas County Jail.

38-year-old Eduardo Castro-Lopez was booked into the Irving Jail on May 17th at approximately 9 p.m.
He attacked the woman in a rage of jealousy after she refused to hand over her cell phone. The victim used her hands to block the attack and suffered a cut to the palm of her right hand during the struggle.
