Momma goat had triplets last night but these two were weak and barely hanging in this morning. Had to get them warmed up and colostrum in them. The seem to be perking up!

Garden snow pictures! Been 5 years since we have had snow here in North TX.

Almost Thanksgiving and picked the last of the garden before cleaning it up for the winter. Despite months of neglect, I still picked a 5 gallon bucket and a half of another bucket of ripe and green tomatoes, jalapeƱo peppers, banana peppers, and bell peppers. Even had a couple of beets left!

Processed our first three rabbit grow outs today. Went fairly smooth and tasted great (at least to me, no one else would try them.)
Saved one whole back and two legs for the crock pot later this week and everything else went on the grill or in the frying pan. Fried the livers and the belly flaps in butter and avocado oil.
One step forward toward food self sufficiency.
