🚨Your Emergency Plan is Collecting Dust - if your safety manual hasn’t been updated in the past year -or if employees don’t know where to access it - it won’t help in a real emergency. 🚨 No One Has Practiced What to Do - knowing what to do is not enough. If your team hasn’t walked through realistic, scenario based drills, panic will override protocol. 🚨Your Plan is Generic or Doesn’t Match Your Building - off the shelf guidelines can’t account for your building layout, number of employees or day to day risks.

Flight itineraries, hotel reservations, receipts, and luggage tags are all great sources of information commonly left in hotel trash cans. Criminals can pull a great deal of information from these items.
-Hotel reservations commonly display full names and credit card information.
-Flight itineraries display to and from airports and times of travel.
-Receipts show date and time of purchase which can be used to pattern someone’s movements.
These items should always be shredded when possible, taken with you and disposed of after travel.
This tip can be applied to your own home as well. Always shred important documentation to mitigate the risk of exposing names, numbers, and images.
