We had such a great time tonight! Thank you to Garland ISD Education Foundation. The Rowlett Foundation purchased over $5000 in teachers grants and went on to win 2nd place in the Tinsel & Trivia contest! It was such great event. Congratulations to the Rowlett City Council on their 4th win for smartest city.

It was a blast delivering $1000 scholarships to just-graduated seniors!!!
Every year the Rowlett Chamber Foundation awards 5 $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors who are Rowlett residents and who are majoring in a business-related degree program! It's just one more way the Rowlett Chamber Foundation and the Rowlett Area Chamber and Visitors Center support our future workforce and our amazing students!

We were thrilled to receive this donation from Mick and look forward to building a scholarship program for students enrolled at the Gilbreath-Reed Career & Technical Center! The Rowlett Area Chamber and Visitors Center partnership with the Rowlett Economic Development team always leads to amazing things happening!

It was so exciting getting to present scholarships to students at several of the Garland ISD high schools. These graduating seniors were so deserving!
The first scholarship, presented by Rowlett Municipal Judge Pam Liston, was the Drew Howard Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is the Drew Howard Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship sponsored by Judge Liston in promotion of excellent citizenship in the Rowlett community as was demonstrated and lived by Drew Howard.
The other scholarships were presented by Rowlett Chamber Foundation board members Mark Hall and Michael Gallops and were for graduating seniors who live in Rowlett and are going to major in a business-related topic. The Foundation presented scholarships to 5 students! Jay Jaroszewski also presented scholarships to two students but pictures are not available.
