This year marks the eighth anniversary of the Magic in the Living Room show, one of the longest-running magic shows in the Dallas area, and I have been honored to be a part of the show from its beginning. That's me on the left with my special guest Daniel, helping him celebrate his birthday by performing a brand new routine that I created that has never been attempted on any stage: an original hand-drawn picture vanishes from my hand and appears sealed in a gift-wrapped card box in full view of the audience! It got a much stronger reaction from the audience than I expected, so it is definitely a keeper. My alter-ego, Professor Thaddeus T. Poindexter, visionary, inventor, and scientist, will be on stage on May 5 with a brand new science experiment that he is anxious to share with the world. You don't want to miss this! We had a sold-out show at our Valentine's Day/Mardi Gras themed Magic in the Living Room show this month. I performed my Magic Floating Paper Rose for all the guests before the stage show, a perfect trick for Valentine's Day. Can you believe, it is already a New Year! And I made a New Year's resolution to create some brand new magic for the year. That's me performing, for the very first time, "Estrellas" (Spanish for "Stars") at our Magic in the Living room show. I got fantastic reviews from all the guests, so this is definitely a keeper! What a way to begin the New Year! That's also me on the far left in the group photo with fellow stage performers Matt Howard, Teddy the Magic Bear and Brian O'Neill, our director/producer Dal Sanders, our emcee for the evening Derrel Allen, the always hilarious Ian Richards, and mentalist Bill Bentz. It was Christmas at the Magic in the Living Room show, and I had a great time performing my strolling close-up magic for guests before the stage show. No, I haven't been in a horrific motorcycle accident! That's me in my Halloween costume on stage at the Magic in the Living Room show. It was my turn to be the emcee for the show, and my zombie hand Manuel was there to assist. Thanks to our Director/Producer Dal Sanders for allowing me to be the guest emcee. It was finally my turn to perform on stage at the Magic in the Living Room show. The cast and crew at Magic in the Living Room just performed one of the best shows ever in our nearly seven-year history! We got great reviews from all the guests in attendance, and I had the rare privilege of being photographed performing my close-up magic for the guests at their tables before the stage show. I had a wonderful time performing my one-hour parlor magic show at the Arcadia Park Library in Dallas! They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I will just let the smiles on all the children's faces tell the story. I closed with my favorite trick, The Four Card Miracle, and everybody got to go home with a signed souvenir card. Thanks so much to Rene Gomez and the library for inviting me back for the show.

I had a FANTASTIC time on Friday performing my one-hour parlor magic show at the Sunnyvale Public Library! The photos of all the happy children with their torn and restored magic cards tells the story. I've performed a lot of magic shows in my lifetime, but this was the very first time that I had a parking space reserved just for me. A special thanks goes out to Matthew Coleman our host for arranging this show. Just in case you missed this show, I will be performing at the Arcadia Park Library in Dallas on Monday, June 16, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. I had a wonderful time at the Dallas Magic Club's annual banquet and awards ceremony. As the official Club photographer, I don't often get to pose in FRONT of the camera, but fellow Club member Russell Turner offered to take my photo. Thanks, Russell, for being so thoughtful. Our guest performer was Giancarlo Bernini, who recently fooled Penn & Teller. He certainly amazed me with his one-of-a-kind magic show.
