There’s this assumption in our industry that “more” equals better. More: florals, installs… more EVERYTHING.

My take? I don’t agree.

What I love — what I’ve always loved — is intentional design. The right edit, the right scale, the right choices for the client in front of me (crazy how something so seemingly obvious can get so lost in translation, right?).

BUT: Affordable and relatable can be just as thoughtful and impactful as large-scale and lavish. It’s never been about excess for me. It’s about taste! It’s about knowing what belongs! And what doesn’t!

After all these years, I’m excited to flex that muscle at every budget. Same eye, experience, standard — all that good stuff!

Thank you so much for the amazing week. It was so rejuvenating and inspiring for our team. Our final lesson learned? Good design does not equal how much you ADD. Good design is how well you CHOOSE.

Day one with aboard the Evrima ✨

Our team arrived ready to learn, collaborate, and lean into conversations that shape the future of our industry. From the moment we boarded, the tone was set for a week rooted in intention and shared perspective.

Todd led the opening discussion alongside Lynn Easton and Tara Guerard, speaking to the importance of fostering meaningful relationships with both vendor partners and clients, something that sits at the core of how we build and sustain our work.

We spent the afternoon in small-group sessions exchanging insight with fellow planners and creatives, then closed the evening with a sunset sail and a nautical-inspired celebration at sea. 🥂

Grateful for this opportunity to challenge our perspective and strengthen our community.

Happy holidays to each and everyone… what a year…. I lost my grandmother and my mom this year, had some amazing clients allow me to do some amazing things, hit some personal bumps and close calls…but I’m here… proud to launch designed for and finished my dream house … 😂😂😂 sounds like I didn’t sleep. But most of all grateful… grateful for this bright young beautiful girl, grateful for and family have a wonderful week of rest and relaxation! I’m going to go decorate my tree and wrap gifts and bake banana bread and wait for papa to be home see you in 2024… ❤️
