While yesterday did not go as planned, I am so proud of how hard we worked to earn every vote and kept a positive focus.

To all my friends, family and neighbors, thank you for dedicating so many late nights, long weekends, and early voting days, to help get the message out. Thank you for your continued prayers and constant words of encouragement.

To the Collin County residents who entrusted me with their votes, thank you for believing in me. I will continue to serve our community.

I received this letter from President Trump in response to a letter I wrote to him expressing my sincere gratitude that he was my Commander in Chief. I served in the USAR, under two terms of the Obama Administration, where the military budget continued to be cut and not made a priority. With President Trump as my Commander in Chief, the military was a priority and we got all the resources we needed. In my letter, I told him how proud I was to serve under him and thanked him for all he was doing for our country. Since there was very little I could give the President to show my gratitude, I sent him the one thing that was extremely important to me, the Bronze Star that I had been awarded. Thank you Donald J. I was honored to attend a dinner hosted by Frisco VFW for new military recruits deploying for Basic Training. Medal of Honor Recipient US Army CPT Florent Groberg, Collin County resident, spoke to the brave young men and women who are ready to defend our country’s freedoms. Thank you all for your service!
