As this is the new home of Monks Jazz and East Austin Piano Shop, my landlord also encouraged me to host some safe and socially distanced events, bringing back the use of this lot for events like they had in it's heyday. We're naming it Pedernales Station, and this weekend, partnering with Britt at Copperwire Productions, we're throwing a 2 stage/8 band showcase, with socially-distanced space for about 100 people (normally filled at 350-400 as he told me).
