The biggest lie we tell ourselves is *it don’t take all that… but the truth is? It takes EVERYTHING. All of our heart ❤️. All of our mind 🧠. All of our body 🙌🏾. All of our soul 🔥. To truly become a living sacrifice, we can’t just give God our pieces and call it enough. Somewhere along the way, we’ve convinced ourselves that we can balance both our old nature and becoming a new creation when in reality, that mindset is what kept people from understanding Paul. Because the more I learn about Paul I understand that he wasn’t a radical… he was just fully convinced. So in a world where so many call themselves Christian yet walk the path of the ungodly, I pray that you remain the anomaly. Be the one they call a radical. The holy roller. The fully convinced, fully committed… the true believer. The one people say is “doing too much” for God but also the one people know without a doubt who you belong to. A lot of people say we sin daily, but that’s not exactly what Scripture says, is it? The Bible says we die daily. Dying daily means killing our flesh letting go of the parts of us that don’t look like the Father. And when we take our last breath, the hope is that when God looks at us in the throne room, He sees His reflection… His child, His image, Himself. I know how challenging it is to walk the straight and narrow, but we must do it. We must choose His way over our way. We must choose His will over our will. We must choose God first before we choose ourselves until we become the sacrifice, a living sacrifice. It’s my hope and prayer that we stop looking like the world and start looking like radicals. That we stop looking like sinners and start looking like saints. I started this year differently… ♥️😇 No New Year’s resolutions. No vision boards. No… Dear God, it’s me… can I have the big house, the luxury car, the money, the successful business None of that. Because let’s be real January 1st is like Christmas for those of us who love affirmations and resolutions. But this year, I prayed a different prayer God, do whatever You want. Separate me. Elevate me. Use me for Your glory. Let me be a vessel. And so far… This year has been phenomenal. But here’s the thing about asking God to have His way… He absolutely will. 1000%. No questions asked. So, if you started this year with surrender, I just want to affirm you sometimes, the journey means it’s just you and God.
