Daddy transitioned Sept 4, 2019 early before sunrise. I spent most of the night before at his bedside praying for God to heal my Daddy. Just a daughter wanting her Superman to stay forever. I didn’t know I would have to let him ago until it was time to do it. Was I ready? Who Is? I mean if I’m honest I could think of a few who couldn’t gone before him but it wasn’t my choice to make.

I have missed the smile on my father’s face, the tone in which he spoke my name and the pride in his heart for me.

I am blessed that he imprinted his love on me because it had truly strengthened and defined the ways in which I love.

I will forever miss you Daddy. Remembering you with love.

So many memories continue to flood my heart the more we say your name. I can recall some of the best days in music have you right at the center. Even when our paths were different you would never let me get to far out of reach. I don’t care how many lights, cameras, and opportunities came your way, you ALWAYS made sure I was a priority in your life and that you saw me as family.

We’ve gone through the loss of loved ones together, we’ve been in the middle of WWIV in industry stuff 😂 and we’ve always come back to us. It has truly been an honor for me to have you in my life and be what feels like your next of kin.

I can hear you now, see your reactions, and know without a doubt how you would respond to your new home. I pray your heart is fully restored by God’s love and that you find rest in His Arms until we meet again.

I am preparing to leave my 40s this year. And as I type this it is completely surreal and I am thankful. I am so blessed. I brought in my new year with my Sister . She gave me a beautiful assortment of goodies and a few things to layer on top what she’s already given me. And then my Sissy caught up with me, my journey in friendships and reaffirmed our lifelong sisterhood with a promise to be by my side no matter what. I couldn’t planned a better start to my day.

48 taught me to see what I was afraid to acknowledge. It pushed me to prioritize the wins above sacrifices. It forced my focus to be narrow, linear, and central. I am proud to say that I set several major goals and didn’t let up. Full throttle I stayed the course this time. No pit stops for chaos, confusion, or being left behind. I made a covenant with myself that if I deserve what I give and have released my grasp on trying to change what can’t be fixed by my own consistency and love. It’s truly time for me to embrace who Faith is and embrace those that include me sincerely.

48 gave me a twin. I never thought I’d see me in any other human. And it’s not really me lol. It’s her, 🎀. Heaven and earth combined. I am so happy I don’t know what to do with myself. God is a good God! A Good Good Father to me and I am so so so grateful.
