TKL round 2 done and dusted. We had great pace all week except for qualifying.

In qualifying, I decided to go out by myself because we weren’t aloud to push. It was not the right decision which put us P7.

In heat 1, I struggled to make some passes but ended up finishing 5th.

Then in the pre final, I made it up to first early in the race but then got caught by and ended up finishing second.

Finally in the final, I had a terrible start falling down to sixth. Then I made a double overtake putting me in forth. It took me a few laps to run down the next pack but I made it through and I was flying. I made a mistake which put me back in third but made it back really quick. I was catching the leader really quick but ran out of time.

Overall it was a good weekend other than qualifying, almost a flip, and ants getting in both of my helmet bags.

Race week to start summer!! So exited for this weekend and looking forward to add a new track to my list!!

This weekend was a roller coaster of ups and downs.

Heat 1: Had an amazing start, I was running p6 but it had to end early on the 3rd lap. I was in the front pack going into the kink and the kid in front of me went wide and spun in front of me. I committed to the right side causing me to go in the grass, spin, and flood the motor. And that was a rap on heat 1.

Heat 2: I didn’t get the best start but I ended up making it back about half way through the race. I was up to about P5 when I made a rookie mistake by going to the outside, and every driver knows how that ends especially when theres a train on the inside. I went off the track and lost my progress but ended up climbing back to P9.

Heat 3: I had decent pace at the start but one of the set screws came out so I had on track adjustable camber. With no draft, I just had to settle with a P8 after penalties.

Main: Had a good start making up 4 positions. The rest of the race I was chasing down the driver in front of me and even had a nice battle at the end with . I finished P8 across the line, P7 after penalties.
