You start dying slowly ;
if you do not travel,
if you do not read,
If you do not listen to the sounds of life,
If you do not appreciate yourself.
You start dying slowly :
When you kill your self-esteem,
When you do not let others help you.
You start dying slowly ;
If you become a slave of your habits,
Walking everyday on the same paths…
If you do not change your routine,
If you do not wear different colours
Or you do not speak to those you don’t know.
You start dying slowly :
If you avoid to feel passion
And their turbulent emotions;
Those which make your eyes glisten
And your heart beat fast.
You start dying slowly :
If you do not risk what is safe for the uncertain
If you do not go after a dream
If you do not allow yourself
At least once in your lifetime
To run away from sensible advice
Don't let yourself die slowly
Do not forget to be happy!

This is so tiring, as a male therapist not only do I lose clients over this insecure thinking, I also miss out on a lot of male clients that can’t imagine having a male therapist. Once they’re been worked on by me they see it’s really a safe and relaxing, if not even rewarding. But life goes on and I appreciate the clients that do show. ♥️🙏

Very cool! We often look to Native American, Indian Ayurveda, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Hispanic Curandera and European herbalism but never get a good look into American Black or African traditions. Next on my book list!!! 😍❤️
This year, our dear friend Lucretia VanDyke published her first book, African American Herbalism, and it is fantastic! Rooted in African American traditions, this compilation of stories, practices, and recipes shares a perspective not heard often enough.
The article Lucretia wrote in 2021 for the Mountain Rose Herbs Blog is a glimpse at what you can expect to find in her book. https://blog.mountainroseherbs.com/honoring-herbalists-of-color-through-time

More plant power at work, I love it!!! ❤️
We’ll bet when you visit Israel’s Negev region, one of the last things you’d expect is greenhouses with row upon row of thriving, seven-foot-tall modified to***co.
These to***co leaves, grown near the Halutza Communities one half of a mile from the Egyptian border, are processed into hyrdogel for printing human tissues and organs, including lungs and kidneys. The leaves are picked and sent to a processing facility in northern Israel, where they’re crushed and liquidated Thirty-five tons of leaves make seven liters of highly purified recombinant collagen.
This material is then turned into a hydrogel for 3D bioprinting of tissues and organs, including lungs and kidneys. There’s far less chance of rejection or infection from this form of collagen than from that extracted from animals or human cadavers.
With a scarcity of organ donors around the world, the process that’s started from plants grown in the sands of a startup community in the Negev has the potential to save many lives.
Jewish National Fund - USA is so proud of the work being done in our affiliate community! It’s the 2023 version of “making the desert bloom.”

Totally agree! Although I do feel like as a society we’re making a shift from the industrial model we’ve been taught. ❤️🍁🌱
